Za25 / Za40 Refractory Material Abrasive Grit Electrocorundum 38A Nickel-Based Alloys Fiber Disc Oxide Zirconia Fused Alumina (ZFA)
Zirconia Fused Alumina (ZFA) is a high-grade, high-toughness abrasive and refractory material produced by melting and quenching in an electric arc furnace at temperatures exceeding 2000°C. It is primarily composed of aluminum oxide (Al2O3) and zirconium oxide (ZrO2), forming a dense, dendritic microcrystalline structure of α-Al2O3 and Al2O3-ZrO2 eutectics. It combines the high hardness of corundum with the excellent toughness of zirconium oxide.

Key Features:
High toughness: Approximately 2-3 times that of ordinary fused white corundum, extending grinding wheel life by 30-50%.
Excellent self-sharpening: Microcrystalline fractures continuously reveal new edges, while grinding at low heat levels prevents burns to the workpiece.
High-temperature and corrosion resistance: Excellent resistance to molten steel, molten glass, and acid-base slag.
Excellent shape retention: Suitable for heavy-load, high-feed, and high-speed grinding.
